Adventures in the Kispiox, BC

  My hard working husband is a self-employed Red Seal Carpenter in the warmer months and a Heli Ski Guide for Wiegele Heli Skiing during the winter. His most recent project he has been working on is a 6-plex in Kispiox, BC. A few months ago, Lee was invited by a Native Elder to assist in the caving of a totem pole. As an avid carver and non-native newcomer, he was very honoured. Recently, these new poles were erected and Lee was able to capture them in all their glory! I have yet to visit the site myself and am curious about the meaning...

Meet my family…

Here’s a little about me and my family! I have 4 children ranging in age from 7-19 years old.Two girls, two boys. I am married to a wonderful Aussie who came to Canada to ski and never left. Lee is a contractor in the warmer months and is a heli-ski guide in the winters. My birth family and I reunited 11 years ago and we have since moving to northern British Columbia to be closer to them. Many of my recipes have been handed down by my birth mom.
